About
Hello!! I’m so excited to be here. I’m a mental health therapist and have become a little obsessed with relearning how to play. I experience it as an antidote to grief and a bridge from living passively to engaging with life. Play has been helping me personally, and it’s something I’m trying to incorporate into my work with clients!
Some of my favorite ways to play (that I know of currently) are writing poems, dancing and performing, and beading with pony beads. I used to bake a lot and enjoyed it, so I’m hoping to get back into that soon! I also love to travel, collect stickers and trinkets, and try new cafes and restaurants. Some hobbies that are new or that I think I would enjoy but haven’t tried yet - face painting, making things with clay, and embroidery on felt.
I’ve been a member of a small writing group for about a year and a half, and I’ve found so much joy in that community! I’ve also participated in several of Renee’s events and think it’s so special to connect with other play people and creatives and support one another in growing, learning, and playing.
